Independent Networking Group (ING) was founded in 1996 as a small company with a big idea. With a background in physician recruitment and medical practice management, Mary-Ellen Schimmoller established ING in order to offer her expertise to a wider range of healthcare professionals.
Over the years, ING has had the opportunity to assist practices throughout the US in a wide array of services customized to their own specific needs or goals. We’ve met a great number of dedicated professionals who are attempting to balance the highest level of professional health services with their own fiscal health. As our name suggests, we are independently networking with groups of all specialties to share ideas and best practice philosophies. A few of the areas in which we have provided assistance include: personal and staff compensation, reimbursement maximization, overhead cost reductions, staff training, and organizational policies.
Our goal is to research ways in which we can further bring practices together to look at economies of scale, staff development, administrative support services, and practice management.
More than 20 years of working with a variety of medical practices has given us an eye for identifying both shortcomings to address and new opportunities to take advantage of. Our practice management consulting can guide you toward effective staff training, improved productivity, and other ideas that fit the individual needs and goals of your practice.
Our mission is to provide the strategies that independent practices need to take the weight off their doctors and give them more freedom to do what they do best: care for their patients.
